Fresh Glen Arbor Fishing Reports

Lots of fishing in July. We had a great month with lots of fish out of West Bay, and many over 4 and 5 pounds, big fish for the month was a whopping 6.5# caught out of 20' of water on a Quiet Cove ned jig. Season is winding down but August is big fish month.

Saturday was another great day fishing West Bay. Fish will remain shallow with a lot of nice males making beds and larger females cruising around. Had friend from the Upper Peninsula out for their first trip on the bay, the fishing didn't disappoint!

Fish are shallow and very active right now and for the next few weeks. Sight fishing for pre-spawn and spawning fish has been the ticket this last week and will only get better with water finally hitting that magic 60 degrees.
